Curious about Little Church? This is a Program that takes place during our 10:00 am Mass. Children ages 3 – Kindergarten are invited to participate. This Program teaches the children about Mass and they participate in a weekly Service where they hear the Good News, explore its meaning and interact with parts of the Service. There is no fee for this Program; however, registration is necessary is now being accepted for the 2018-2019 year. Please consider having your little children participate in this program. Curious about Children’s Liturgy of the Word? CLOW takes place during our 10:00 am Mass, post Labor Day up to Memorial Day weekend. Children in kindergarten through 2nd grade are invited to gather in the center aisle and then are escorted to a meeting room off the Sacristy, to hear and share the Good News in a child friendly environment. Our volunteer staff reads the Word to the children and then they explore its meaning. There is no fee and no registration required for this Program. The Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul conducts an evangelization ministry with Cathedral Ambassadors. This enthusiastic group of trained Ambassadors staffs the Basilica every day of the week and is comprised of volunteer parishioners from all over the Archdiocese. They answer questions, offer assistance and give tours. Cathedral Ambassadors provide a personal presence in the Basilica, they put a face on the Church. Cathedral Ambassadors are assigned 4 hour shifts. The schedule is flexible – one day or more a month. They are provided training and materials to support their evangelization ministry.

The Monthly Breakfast has expanded its menu and therefore is in need of cooks, line personnel, and dish washers. We in particular need help with cleanup at the end of the breakfast which concludes at 12:00 PM. If you can help, contact at Bill at 215.896.5949 or Shirley at 215-679-9275.
Will you help? Help is needed in the kitchen for monthly Bingo to assist in anyway possible. The time would be 11:45 am to 4:00 pm in the Parish Hall Kitchen.

They are friendly and they visit. They visit parishioners who don’t get out very often, or who have no family, nearby; they visit people who just want someone to talk with.

Welcome Ministry – Why not join this ministry and welcome newly registered parishioners to St. Philip Neri Parish. A welcome letter is sent to each new parishioner, as a volunteer you would follow up with a phone call to offer information and answer questions about the various activities and ministries in the Parish.
