SPN Senior Club News of the September Meeting

On Wednesday, September 27th, the SPN Senior Cub held its monthly gathering with 108 in attendance. We celebrated the 50s era with music, dancing and authentic memorabilia. Many of the attendees wore clothing reminiscent of the time dressing in jeans, white tees with rolled sleeves and a couple of poodle skirts. There was a trivia contest and Peggy Bambrick was the winner. Denise and Tom Walsh were declared winners of the twist contest. Thank you to Tony Bauer for helping out as Deejay.

The September birthday winner was Ed Monaghan. Marge Elliott won the 50/50 and Alice McCarthy was the winner of the door prize.

At our next gathering on Wednesday, October 25th we will be celebrating Halloween so get your costumes ready and don’t forget to make your reservation.
