Divine Mercy Sunday, April 11 at 3 pm in the Church

Confessions will be heard from 2:00 PM until 2:45 PM

“…Our Lord taught Saint Faustina a special prayer:  ‘Encourage souls to say the chaplet….whoever will recite it will receive great mercy…..through the chaplet you will obtain everything, if what you ask for is compatible with my will’”.  (Diary 1541, 687, 1731).

Through Saint Faustina Our Lord has given us special means of drawing on His mercy:  the image of the Divine Mercy, the Novena, the chaplet of The Divine Mercy, the 3:00 o’clock prayer (the hour of His death) and the celebration of the Feast of Mercy.

Divine Mercy Sunday, April 11 at 3 pm in the Church

Jesus requested Saint Faustina that the Sunday after Easter be officially established in the church as the Feast of Mercy.  “This feast emerged from the very depths of My mercy, and it is confirmed in the vast depths of My tender mercies.  Every soul believing and trusting in My mercy will obtain it.”  Diary 420

May this feast day be an occasion to ask for the grace to see what God has done for us and is doing for us; the grace to see that our very lives are the work of His mercy.
