Due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) these past months have been extremely difficult for everyone, especially the homeless and hungry. Since attendance at Masses was prohibited during this time monetary donations were requested in lieu of food donations. However, now that we are able to attend Mass food donations will be collected beginning on Saturday, August 1, 2020 at 5:00 PM Mass and all Sunday Masses.
Listed below are the non-perishable food donations:
Totes are available at each side door to deposit donations.
Any questions please contact Dawn Ellis @ 215-679-2160
“One thing I ask of you: Never be afraid of giving.
There is a deep joy in giving, since what we receive is much more than what we give.”
-St. Mother Teresa of Calcutta
It has been over 4-1/2 months since the senior club has hosted a luncheon. Due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) it is uncertain exactly when we will begin making plans for the next luncheon. The Planning Committee is very anxious to get started.
Please know that as soon as the restrictions are lifted and there is NO CHANCE of anyone being infected WE WILL BE BACK.
Until then, BE SAFE.
Congratulations on your ordination, Deacon Horvath! May the blessings of the Lord be upon you and your family, as you follow in His way. May you find joy and peace as He inspires you each day.
Parish Religious Education Program (PREP) registration for the 2020-21 is now open and that information and registration forms can be found on our webpage under the Religious Education Tab.
Any child entering First Grade through 7th Grade and is not attending Catholic School should be enrolled in the program.
It is with regret that St Philip Neri Church, has made the decision to cancel our July 2, 2020 Car Show. While we have been working diligently to prepare for a great event, we have decided to consider the health and safety of our Members, our Volunteers, our Guests, and our Vendors, that cancelling this is in the best interest of all.
In addition, restrictions imposed on gatherings will have dire effects on the size of our event. This will greatly affect all of the Charities that we have supported over the years, and were planning to continue supporting.
We thank all of those who have supported us in the past, for this year’s event, and look to serve all with a much bigger and better show in the future. If acceptable to Sponsors of all levels, we would like to roll your present donations over for our July 23, 2021 Car Show.
Any questions, please contact our event chair, Bill Robinson.
During this time when we cannot celebrate Mass physically together, click here to watch the live-stream Sunday Mass on Facebook, every week at 10 am. Replay of previous Sunday Masses are also available to view at the parish Facebook page.
Please check back each week in the event of a schedule change. Thank you.

MOTHER OF MERCY HOUSE
The effects of the coronavirus (COVID-19) has impacted on everyone. It has especially affected the homeless. Since all Masses have been cancelled there is no way to get food donations from our parish to the people we have been supporting through the Mother of Mercy House.
In an effort to assist with this problem, and in keeping with social distancing, it has been requested that we provide Giant grocery store gift cards and/or checks (payable to: Mother of Mercy House). Your donation need only be in the amount that you would have spent for the purchase of food products. All donations received will be forwarded to the Mother of Mercy House.
Donations can be sent to the following address: Dawn Ellis | 980 Macoby Creek Way | Pennsburg, PA 18073
We are living in an anxious world. We are living in a world that very much needs to know that Christ in present among us. During this time of unknown hardship, our parish continues to be a source of love and support by making Christ’s presence known through prayer and private daily Mass. Beginning this Sunday we will be livestreaming our Sunday Masses.
As you can imagine our parish financial needs will continue during this challenging time. Our utility bills and many other expenses will not cease. For those whose means will allow, this may be a good time to consider Online Giving. In addition, if you contribute using envelopes, your continued support through regular collections is appreciated. You may mail your donations to the parish office or place them in the box near the altar on Sunday mornings until the celebration of public Mass resumes.
You may also make contributions without setting up an account securely through this PayPal link.
I am truly grateful for your generous support and prayerful contributions. May the Lord continue to bless us and give us peaceful souls and good health in these difficult times.
